Approximate Vegetable Seed Sowing Dates for Monument

At an elevation of 7200 feet, your approximate average last killing frost is May 25. Your average first killing frost in the fall is October 1.
To get the approximate frost dates (and recommended planting times) for your location, you must first know your elevation. Then, add or subtract one day for every 100’ change in elevation for your area.
