All season color while being low maintenance is the goal of many of our gardens. While there are many ways to get there this garden plan and plant list has a mix of color provided by both foliage and long bloomers making it an easy to care for garden.
Gardening with native plants has many advantages here in the Tri Lakes Area. Not only are they beautiful and low maintenance, but gardening with natives is a great way to support our native pollinators and wildlife. Dry shade can sometimes be a challenge to grow in. Many plants that require shade also prefer moist conditions. Our “Dry Shade & Deer Resistant” garden plan and plant list is not only great for dry shade garden beds, but also includes plants that the deer do not prefer.
