McCord’s Garden Center and Landscaping is a local, family-owned business. Owners Macie and Ryan McCord have a combined 40 years of experience in the nursery/landscape industry.
We can provide you with everything you need to enjoy outdoor living and garden successfully. Our knowledge about gardening and landscaping in the Tri-Lakes Region makes the difference in the success and beauty of your garden and yard.
We have a passion for plants and the outdoors. We want to share that passion with you, help you love your new yard and love gardening!
Their story began in 2004 when Ryan, a transplant from Corpus Christi, and Macie, a Colorado native, met while working at a Nursery in Colorado Springs. There they discovered their shared passion for plants and the outdoors and wanted to encourage that passion in others.
When you are at the Garden Center, don’t be surprised if one of the McCord’s children, Evan and Charlotte, stops to chat with you about your gardens. They have inherited the gardening bug from their parents!
In 2008 they started the landscaping side of the business, realizing there was a need for a quality, local company to provide full-service landscape design and installation in the Tri-Lakes area.
From patios and retaining walls, to xeriscape gardens and outdoor living areas, Ryan and his landscape crew are committed to helping you make your yard and gardens the best they can be.
In 2012, Macie’s dream of opening her own Garden Center was realized. Macie understands the challenges this area poses to gardeners (especially new ones) and the joy a successful garden brings. Macie and her staff are dedicated to helping you find that same joy.
And with a wide selection of hardy trees, shrubs, and perennials (not to mention annuals, herbs, and vegetables) to choose from at the Garden Center, your only problem will be deciding which ones to buy.
Luckily, the full-time staff at the Garden Center each have over 20 years of experience gardening in the Tri Lakes area and are available to provide guidance and answer all your questions.
